Frequently asked questions.

What we get asked before a first order: who can buy, how VAT works, when it arrives, and what documentation travels with the goods. Clinical questions live in Science.

Who can buy Sofiderm from Orvida?

Doctors with an active licence from the Ordem dos Médicos, and clinics with a licensed clinical director, in Portugal and Spain. In Spain, a colegiado number. We verify before the first order; we do not sell to individuals, or to premises without a clinical lead.

How does registration work?

Three steps: the clinic's details and tax number, the licence or colegiado number, and a delivery address. We confirm the licence against the official registers, without asking you for copies of documents. Professional prices are on the line pages; registration opens the quantity tiers and ordering with a pro forma.

Do prices include VAT?

No. The prices shown are professional prices, excluding VAT. Portuguese VAT of 23% applies in Portugal; for clinics in Spain with a valid EU VAT number, the invoice is issued without VAT under the intra-EU reverse charge.

How long does the correction last?

It depends on the injection plane: 6 to 18 months for the dermal lines, 6 to 24 months for the deep and subcutaneous ones. These are the manufacturer's specification figures, not a clinical promise; actual duration varies with the area, the technique and the patient.

Where is the stock held?

In a licensed warehouse in Portugal, with traceability by lot. Every order leaves with the lot number and expiry on the delivery note.

What documentation comes with the product?

A data sheet and instructions for use per line, plus the CE certificate, the notified body's confirmation letter and the declaration of conformity on request. The documentation lives in Resources; original certificates are sent to registered clinics.

How do I report an adverse event?

By email to vigilance@orvida.eu, or through the form on the Vigilance page, with the lot number and a description. We reply within one working day and forward it to the manufacturer and to INFARMED or AEMPS where applicable.

Is there a minimum order?

There is no minimum per order. Volume tiers apply to the total quantity on the order, in any combination of lines and sizes.
